Iron Cast Helmet
A 19th century cast Iron copy of an Italian Parade Burgonet. The helmet is 2 halves riveted together. This one still has some silver plating but has the Iron showing where it has worn off over the years. Possibly made in Paris 1880.

Left Tasset from a 16th century German suit of armour, it looks as though it was repaired or rebuild at some time in the last 400 years. It has brass capped rivets and manufacture marks on the inside.

A 19th century steel Islamic Qajar shield with decorative embossing and engraving. It has 4 brass bosses to hold the handle mounts inside. Overall size 18 inches.

Portugese Cabasset
This is a 16th century Portugese Cabasset dating to 1560. This helmet has a lot of history; originating in Portugal and damaged by a musket shot to the front of the helmet. After it was repaired and put back into service, it was used by mercenary solders traveling to the Caribbean islands aboard a Spanish merchant ship and then traded through several different owners until making its way to a collector in the USA.

Victorian Cast Helmet
This is a Victorian solid brass casting from the original helmet made for Philip III of Spain. This is a small cabasset made for Philip at 7 years of age. The original was made in 1585, and is on display at the Patrimonio Nacional, Real Armeria, in Madrid, Spain.
