Iron Cast Helmet
A 19th century cast Iron copy of an Italian Parade Burgonet.
The helmet is 2 halves riveted together. This one still has some silver plating but has the Iron
showing where it has worn off over the years.

Portugese Cabasset
This is a 16th century Portugese Cabasset dating to 1560.
This helmet has a lot of history; originating in Portugal and damaged by a musket
shot to the front of the helmet. After it was repaired and put back into service,
it was used by mercenary solders traveling to the Caribbean islands aboard a
Spanish merchant ship and then traded through several different owners until
making its way to a collector in the USA.
