19th c. Frog Mouth suit
This is a early 19th century copy of a Stechzeug or frog mouth style jousting suit.
This was part of a small museum collection to show different style jousting suits.
It has been newly restored and mounted for display. Even though it was made of
lighter steel for display it seems to have been used in demonstrations
because it has lance marks on the helmet and armour.
All the pieces seem to be there including a broken hollow lance.
